DTOS is thrilled to say that our Allen R311 organ is featured at Milwaukee Admirals hockey games! The console is prominently displayed for all fans to enjoy, enhancing the atmosphere at the UW-M Panther Arena, previously known as the MECCA Arena. Additionally, we occasionally bring our theatre organ to various venues to share theatre organ music in places that do not have a pipe organ.

For years, this organ was a familiar presence at American Family Field (formerly Miller Park), sponsored by DTOS and entertaining crowds during Milwaukee Brewers games under the skilled talent of Dean Rosko. Now, it has found a new home and new audience, proving that a great theater organ never truly retires; it simply finds the next crowd to delight—and Dean is still at the console.

The console has an interesting history. When we first acquired the organ, it was taken to Dean's home and workshop. There, he and his late father, Rich, refinished it and added the appropriate logos. The console was painted "Brewer" blue and trimmed in gold. The DTOS logo is displayed on both sides, while the Milwaukee Brewers logos are featured on the horseshoe lid. This serves as a lasting reminder of the organ's origins at American Family Field.

The building now known as UW-M Panther Arena has an interesting history of its own. Over 70 years old, it has undergone significant modernization to meet the needs of the 21st century. Upgrades include new sound and lighting systems, improved concession stands and restrooms, and essential hockey infrastructure. Since the early 1980s, the Admirals called the Bradley Center home, but after the construction of the new Milwaukee Bucks arena, they moved back across the street. There is a wonderful sense of nostalgia in this building, and the organ only enhances that atmosphere! We look forward to many exciting events in the future.

This achievement would not have been possible without Will Lorenz, whose personal Allen R311 has become the DTOS instrument that is now bringing joy to Admirals fans. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to his daughters, Linda Lorenz and Carol Lorenz-Gaetke. Thanks to their generosity, DTOS can reach more people than ever before. Whether we inspire one person or a thousand, securing UW-M Panther Arena as a "DTOS venue" is a significant milestone for us, and we know that Will is smiling down on this accomplishment!
